Delhi , India : Amid the ongoing political controversy surrounding AAP leader Raghav Chadha, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Narayan Das Gupta has responded to the situation, stating that no allegations have been made against Raghav Chadha by the party and rejecting claims of discrimination or internal conflict related to his role in Parliament.
Narayan Das Gupta addressed the issue in Delhi on April 4 and clarified the party’s position regarding Raghav Chadha. He stated that as far as the party is concerned, no Member of Parliament from the party has made any allegations against Raghav Chadha.
He further explained that Parliament functions through discussion and debate, not conflict, and dismissed claims that any kind of discrimination had taken place. According to him, Parliament is a platform where leaders present their views, listen to other Members of Parliament, and participate in discussions on important bills and national issues.
He clearly stated that no ruckus is created in Parliament and that it is a place for discussion, debate, and democratic participation. He also emphasized that Raghav Chadha has always been given the opportunity to speak on bills and participate in parliamentary discussions like other MPs.
Narayan Das Gupta also rejected suggestions that Raghav Chadha was being sidelined or treated unfairly within Parliament. He said that every MP is given the opportunity to present their views and there is no discrimination in giving speaking opportunities in the House.
He emphasized that everyone goes to Parliament to express their views and listen to others, and the functioning of the House is based on discussion and democratic procedure. His statement comes at a time when political statements and counter statements are being made regarding Raghav Chadha, especially after allegations and remarks made by former party leader Naveen Jaihind earlier.
The statement by Narayan Das Gupta is being seen as the party’s response aimed at clarifying its position and defending Raghav Chadha’s role and participation in Parliament. Political observers believe that the exchange of statements between leaders may continue as the controversy remains active in political discussions.
With statements coming from both critics and party leaders, the political debate around Raghav Chadha continues to develop, and further reactions from political leaders are expected in the coming days.
