Priyank Kharge Showcases Karnataka’s Startup Strength Ahead of Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026 !!

NEW DELHI, INDIA — Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge highlighted the state’s strong position in the global startup ecosystem while promoting the upcoming Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026.

Speaking in Delhi, Kharge said that Karnataka has funded over 1,300 startups and continues to be recognized as the startup capital of India. He added that the state ranks among the top global startup hubs, with an ecosystem valued at over $300 billion, underscoring its scale and influence in the technology sector.

He подчеркнул that Karnataka continues to invest heavily in disruptive and emerging technologies, particularly deep tech, positioning itself at the forefront of innovation. According to him, the state government is actively working to strengthen this ecosystem through policy support, funding initiatives, and global collaborations.

Kharge noted that the Bengaluru Tech Summit, scheduled for November, is a key platform to showcase Karnataka’s technological leadership. The government is engaging with diplomats and international stakeholders to attract more global companies to the state, enhancing cross-border partnerships and investment opportunities.

He revealed that more than 80 countries are expected to participate in the summit, reflecting its growing international stature. The event aims to bring together innovators, industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss advancements in technology and explore collaborative opportunities.

In addition to promoting innovation, Kharge highlighted the government’s focus on sustainable infrastructure, including the development of eco-friendly data centres. He said discussions are ongoing with industry stakeholders to create better regulatory frameworks that support growth while ensuring sustainability.

The minister emphasized that Karnataka’s proactive approach and continuous investment in innovation set it apart, reinforcing its leadership in India’s technology landscape.

Priyank Kharge’s remarks underline Karnataka’s ambition to remain a global innovation hub, with the Bengaluru Tech Summit serving as a key platform to drive partnerships, investment, and technological progress.
